Wilshere
Odd choice for Engerland
I can kind of see all the others either those that got in or those left out.
But for me Wilshere has never done anything, not sure what all the hype is about? I just find it odd.
Do any of you understand the choice

Re: Wilshere
Private Dancer,

Wilshere is, or to be more accurate perhaps he's clearly nowhere near match fit having just come back from a long injury - as was quite blatantly demonstrated by today's game. As anyone who knows football or even who has just watched some of Carroll's performances over the last few years can see, there is a massive difference between being 'not injured' in terms of being able to pass a medical test and being anywhere near physically capable of playing a game of top level football.

Re: Wilshere
Delph and Henderson to be left out.
One of Lallana,Townsend or Sterling now that Rooney is certain to play in midfield.
Rashford to go as something different.

If he does that for you in 1 or 2 games I have to say it is worth while to take him

On the other hand you can get a nice clip for plenty of players and say a few goals like that in the Euros would make it worth taking them, as we keep saying why not Noble?

Re: Wilshere
Don't rate him as highly as most seem to do...

Injury prone...clearly not match fit for a high profile tournament...

Should have taken Carrick...great in MF with Rooney...

Hodgson being a fool...yet again...

What players are injured?

Re: Wilshere
If Beckham leaping over that challenge against Brazil didn't teach us anything about taking injured players to a tournament I fucking despair.

I love the Euro's and the World Cup, just a buzz to be able to watch Iceland vs Romania on a Tuesday lunchtime. It don't bother me nowhere near as much now though when we go out.

Re: Wilshere
Unfit and injury prone who concentrates more on off field activities these days.

Hahaha! I'm hungover to fuck, and had a little bite.

I'm out tomorrow, but will record it and watch it. The reason I mentioned getting behind them is that it seems fashionable to say how much you don't give a fuck about England, but I do, I'll moan about the squad picked, but come the tournament I'll be well up for it.

Re: Wilshere
LOL! That was a 'Friday night' post, so I admit I was talking bollocks.

Looking forward to the Euro's. You watching the game tomorrow?

Na, I'll keep on taking myself serious, if that's alright with you? We can't all be happy go lucky chancers without a care in the world and living the dream like you are. I have to face my problems and not run away from real life.

Can't wait to see which Wilshere will turn up for England...

Completely over-hyped in my opinion...

Wait and see...

Russ

"He is probably, as we speak, undertaking one of the most rigorous training regimes known to man and by the time reaches Euro's will be bastard fit and won't have the tiredness of a full season to contend with like 95% of his opponents will"

Nothing beats competitive football on a regular basis to keep your skill and awareness of the game up to the highest level, no matter how you came through the most rigorous training regime.

Just a thought.

''Shit as it is, I'll still be right behind us as soon as the tournament starts''

Well that will make Woy and his boys sleep soundly tonight. Maybe time to stop taking yourself so seriously, Jibbers?

When you look at the total lack of skill in our midfield I think its a welcome addition

"Wilshire is a very good player don’t get me wrong but he has only just returned after a long layoff, will take him more than a few run outs to get him back to his anywhere near his best."

Or.......

He is probably, as we speak, undertaking one of the most rigorous training regimes known to man and by the time reaches Euro's will be bastard fit and won't have the tiredness of a full season to contend with like 95% of his opponents will.

Just a thought.

Re: Wilshere
Pre 98 France dumped Ginola and Cantona too, worked out ok for them. When are the FA going to appoint someone who is his own man?
